About
We are making SolarConnect, a school hub with solar power and internet. Kids in rural Liberia can use computers, learn new things, and teachers can teach with digital tools even without electricity.
Impact
Our project gives kids in rural Liberia electricity, internet, and digital tools. It helps them learn, lets teachers teach better, and turns schools into community hubs where everyone can grow, create, and share ideas.
Progress
Our first pilot solar-powered broadband hub is already operating at a rural school in Gbarpolu County. We have also identified additional schools, developed hub designs, and secured community support to expand SolarConnect to more rural schools.
Team
CFCOD has years of experience supporting rural schools and communities. We know local needs, have run education and development projects successfully, and can deliver solar-powered digital learning hubs that truly work.
