About
The Edge City makerspace is a prototyping space that lowers the barrier to building. The makerspace has the tools and training to turn your ideas into real physical things. We have 3D printers, sewing machines, a laser machine, computers, and more.
Impact
A stocked makerspace is a multiplier — it is the difference between having an idea and actually shipping something in an environment where we are building a better world. It is a site of multigenerational and hands-on learning.
Progress
The edge Esmeralda 2026 makerspace was funded mostly by volunteer donations. We ran five workshops, and hosted 20 open hours a week to help people prototype projects and build their new brands through business cards and personalize merch.
Team
I have volunteered at four separate makerspaces across eight years, and I care a lot about nurturing high agency and value driven communities.
