About
A series of public art experiments that connect strangers. Starting by installing hammocks in everyday spaces and offering visitors five minutes of rest and one-on-one connection with a local artist
Impact
It slows people down in places designed to rush them, creating unexpected moments of care, conversation, and creative exchange in communities that crave deeper, more easeful connection.
Progress
I've secured a permit, identified locations in my town, and prototyped the hammock setup. Now I need funding to launch the first season of installations and cover expenses including workshops on creative ways to connect with strangers.
Team
I'm an artist in a small town with a knack for making experiences that feel warm and inviting. I built this because my community craves more easeful ways to connect, and I'm the kind of person who'd hang a hammock in a parking lot to make it happen.

The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
