About
Im building a photographic archive of the underground communities around the world, beginning with punk. I want to document the people, spaces and cultures that exist outside the mainstream. Photographs will become an open archive available for all.
Impact
Punk scenes disappear. Communities that existed for years become memories overnight., I want to capture their essence while they're still alive. UNDERBELLY is an attempt to build a living photographic archive of the people who create these worlds
Progress
I've begun building a photographic archive of punk communities in Soweto, Kenya, the UK and Europe. I've exhibited the work and and now expanding the archive internationally.
Team
Im both a photographer and participant in the punk communities I document. I have the trust, access and experience to tell these stories from within, and have already built an international archive across South Africa, Kenya, the UK and Europe.
