About
A 5-day gathering in a recovering food forest in Portugal's mountains. Held around a cedar sauna, spring-fed waterfall, and live music. Participants create land art, share skills, and learn together. Permanent irrigation goes in ahead of the event.
Impact
Two decades after wildfire took the forest, this gathering adds to its recovery. Sculptures stay. Irrigation stays. Fire-resistant food forest replaces eucalyptus monoculture, and a model emerges for events that care for the land rather than consume.

Site confirmed, core team in place, steward roles assigned. 30+ applications under review. 200+ trees already established. Sculptors confirmed as workshop leaders. Irrigation and supporting infrastructure underway. Applications open at acorujeira.pt.
Team
Eska has spent the last decade at the intersection of community-building, engineering, and ecological stewardship. A Corujeira has been his home and life's work for five years: every structure built by hand, the land tended for five seasons.
