About
In Comfy Critters, you play as a small animal, turn their space into a home that’s just right for them, meet their neighbors, learn what makes them comfy, and give each other thoughtful gifts. You win by being great at caring for yourself and others.
Impact
Comfy Critters shows that winning doesn’t have to mean defeating someone else. Players win by caring for themselves, creating a home that suits them, understanding their neighbors, and helping others feel welcome—which scales to real communities.
Progress
Comfy Critters went from idea to complete playable print-and-play game fast. I created it from scratch—designing the rules, characters, cards, game pieces and den boards and building the prototype—initially for the Bad Comet Cozy Game Competition.
Team
I’m a mother and homeschool teacher with over a decade of experience, including tabletop board game design. I understand how children and families learn, play, and connect—and I created Comfy Critters from scratch to turn that experience into a game.
