About
Imagine a city that disappears after a month — but the breakthroughs last forever. Edge City India is a popup village bringing 1,000 scientists, builders, and artists to India to live and work together on the hardest problems facing humanity.
Impact
India has one of the world's densest talent concentrations and almost no frontier collaboration at this scale. Edge City India bridges that gap: a living lab where global and local builders work side by side, seeding ideas that compound for decades.
Progress
Edge City has run 8+ popup villages across 4 continents with 12,000+ participants. We're scouting India locations now with a confirmed venue by Q2 2026. Strategically timed around Devcon Mumbai for maximum ecosystem overlap.
Team
Edge City is a nonprofit co-founded by Janine Leger (Gitcoin, Zuzalu) and Timour Kosters (Seed Club Ventures). We've run villages on 4 continents and are scouting India now with local partners across tech, research, and innovation ecosystems.
