About
theatrebuilding.com is a decentralized platform, network and laboratory for online performance art, connecting performers and audiences across time and space. Each performance is a html-page on IPFS. We aim to become a DAO.
Impact
The project aims to create transnational communities and solidarity and to take part in shaping the internet to be less extractive and draining of our data, time and energy while providing more meaningful interactions.
Progress
We have recieved startup capital and started building. We have published the first performances on the platform and grown our community through Console, transitioning together into web3 and taking our first steps towards becoming a DAO.
Team
We are a diverse community of performers, visual artists, writers, programmers and more with connections around the world. Our skills and perspectives compliment each other and make us stronger.
