About
We pay people in different countries to film their neighbors answering the same question. The money is crypto, so it works everywhere. Everyone can watch the videos. It builds one shared record of what the world really thinks.
Impact
Journalism has meant flying in, filming, leaving. We pay local reporters in their own streets and build international infrastructure that keeps them working after our bounty ends. A platform that pays the people it documents.
Progress
Started 2021. Team of six across Nigeria and the US. First #QueryTheWorld campaign: Bitcoin Pizza Day 2026, $530 pot, 22 backers, 11 videos in Philadelphia in one day. Three more campaigns from Marissa, Kafani, and Devin queued. 700+ Discord.
Team
Since 2021 I've documented the crypto movement on four continents, funded by a $150K grant from C.Y. Lee. #QueryTheWorld turns that fieldwork into an international platform where the people building the future document it themselves.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
