About
The Divine Ugly is a new project by Nu Phobia. It is music for a full-body somatic journey, with live listening experiences in unusual places where people can feel, move, and connect.
Impact
This project gives people space to slow down, feel present, and connect with others. It brings live art to unusual places and creates shared experiences outside normal venues.
Progress
The album is written and nearing release. I have defined its immersive direction and am developing the live listening format, body-based elements, somatic facilitation and of venue access.
Team
I am Nu Phobia, the artist behind The Divine Ugly. Each year I create sonic sensory experience camps at festivals across New Zealand and the USA. I know how to turn music, space, and people into a shared journey.
