About
I am making a digital story telling project that focuses on recovery. It will allow young internally displaced Persons (IDP's) in Taraba State Nigeria to tell their stories, reconnect with their lost dreams and set goals they can work on again.
Impact
This project will re-egnite the voices of young IDPs whose dreams have been cut short as a result of their displacement. It will raise awareness about the challenges they face and influence how stakeholders should be proactive in providing support.
Progress
I have visited numerous IDPs and I maintain a connection with persons who are eager to share their stories, develop themselves and change the narrative. I have also gotten the necassary approvals and is currently ready to kick-start my project.
Team
Working closely with numerous humanitarian organizations for the past 5 years gave me first hand knowledge about the numerous dead dreams and untold stories of IDPs. With my experience in story telling I will use this project to amplify their voices.
