About
Innovators Buzz is building open innovation infrastructure for Suriname: a community where young people can access knowledge, networks, mentorship, and opportunities that are otherwise difficult to find locally.
Impact
Too many young Surinamese have good ideas but lack the support to move forward. We give them a community, practical skills and useful connections to build solutions, create opportunities and make a difference here at home.
Progress
We launched Innovators Buzz in 2022 with our first community event in Paramaribo. Since then, we have grown from a single event into a nonprofit, built a local network, and connected Surinamese innovators to regional and global communities.
Team
We’ve experienced how difficult it is to build something new in Suriname without the right support. We started Innovators Buzz to make that journey easier for our peers and the next generation.

The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
