About
We will sail from the east coast of Africa to East Asia and back home to Europe, only sailing to harbours where we get invited on the routes of Chinese, Moroccan and Danish explorers, joined by a camera and people who each have a quest for the way.
Impact
By inspiring people to be brave, by telling positive stories through film and other media and by connecting a worldwide network of local cultural hubs I believe we can make a big change in these troubled times.
Progress
The Midsummer, a 100 foot 1910 Dutch schooner has been fully rebuilt over the last four years by it’s captain Drew Korek and is almost ready to sail. I found many potential sailors as well as local community holders willing to be part.
Team
I speak Mandarin and have been working as a storyteller and merchant between East and West for the last seventeen years. My personal story connects me deeply with sailing and merchants. I started a film project called A Journey to the Origins of Tea

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
